Currently, we support imports from esteemed apps such as eBird, Merlin Bird ID, Birdtrack, and Birdlasser, with plans to expand our import compatibility to include iNaturalist and other platforms in the near future. Additionally, if you decide to move your records elsewhere, Birda allows you to export all of your sightings with ease.

LIFE LISTS:

Birda automatically generates comprehensive life lists encompassing all the birds you have imported or recorded using the app itself. These lists are further categorized based on time and geographical location. For example, you can easily review all the bird species you have encountered within the past month or year, as well as compile comprehensive lists specific to your home and preferred birding locations. In the coming period, Birda will expand its automatic list generation to include regions, countries, states/provinces, and nature reserves.

TAXONOMY:

Understanding that taxonomy can prove intricate and complex, Birda has developed an innovative solution that limits confusion for its users. By seamlessly harmonizing diverse taxonomic authorities and myriad common names across multiple languages within its cutting-edge taxonomic engine, Birda ensures a streamlined user experience. Regardless of the taxonomy employed by fellow users, you will effortlessly view each other's bird sightings under your chosen taxonomy.

PRIVACY:

Birda prioritizes user privacy and affords users full control over their shared information. Users can establish a privacy zone around their address, ensuring that any sightings logged in their gardens automatically conceal precise location details. This enables users to protect their home addresses while still enjoying the convenience of logging sightings in their immediate surroundings. By configuring the home location within Birda, users also gain access to automatically generated Home Lists and Patch Lists which catalog all sightings made within these designated areas.

Through Location Privacy Settings, users determine who can access precise location data associated with the sightings they post on Birda.
